Requirements include a HS diploma or GED and at least 3 years of forklift experience; baler operator experience is preferred. Varying shifts, PPE, and a background check are part of the process.

• At least 3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous baler operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to pick up waste pallets and carts.
• Identify waste ticket, weigh unit on scale, and input weight accurately.
• Place waste into baler and replace bale wire as needed.
• Troubleshoot baler issues and maintain housekeeping in the baler room.
• Weigh recycled bale(s), load onto trailer, and reconcile work before supervisor.
