Job summary

Cartamundi is hiring a Baler Operator for our Erlanger, KY facility. The role involves operating the baler, moving scrap with fork lifts, and monitoring waste systems in a climate controlled plant. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of experience are required, with strong communication skills and basic math.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of work experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Operate the wastepaper baler and transport scrap material.
• Sort and dispose of scrap and waste materials properly.
• Maintain waste collection points and operate waste compactors.
• Monitor pneumatic waste removal system and perform cleanup.
• Follow safety policies and complete daily maintenance checks.
• Operate powered industrial trucks as trained.
