Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking a Safety-sensitive Forklift and Baler Operator at our Cincinnati, OH facility. The role involves processing donated goods, operating and maintaining the baler, and moving products to and from inventory with accurate record-keeping.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift experience is preferred though training is provided. Candidates must be 18+, pass drug tests, and be able to lift 50+ lbs as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Past forklift experience preferred, but training available.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Safety-sensitive role with zero-tolerance for substance use or impairment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an accurate inventory and tracks seasonal inventory.
• Moves all product in and out of inventory as needed.
• Bales moved to storage area or loaded on trailer/container.
• Operates baler and forklift controls to compress textiles and other materials.
• Weighs all bales and recyclable product.
• Performs daily AM and PM checks and records temperature.
• Overtime on nights and weekends as required.
• Overtime as needed on nights and weekends.
• Assist in processing textiles either by hand loading or conveyor.
• Frequently pushing, pulling, and lifting over 50 lbs.
