Job summary

Cartamundi, the United States Playing Card Company, is hiring a Baler Operator for our Erlanger, KY facility. This full-time direct labor position pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

You will operate the waste baler, move scrap with forklifts, and ensure safe, efficient material handling in a climate-controlled plant. Responsibilities include collecting and sorting scrap, maintaining waste points, training on powered equipment, and following 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of work experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and operate powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the waste baler and transport bales to outbound trucks.
• Collect loose scrap and waste materials throughout the plant.
• Sort and dispose of scrap and waste materials.
• Maintain waste collection points and operate waste compactors.
• Follow safety policies and complete daily maintenance check sheets.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to transport materials.
• Keep baler room clean and maintain 5S standards.
