Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift Store is seeking a Baler / Forklift Operator to support daily baler and forklift operations. You will feed materials into the baler’s hopper, monitor compression, tie and label bales, and move them to storage areas using a forklift.

Safety and adherence to procedures are essential to ensure efficient, safe work and sustainability goals. Qualifications include thrift/retail/warehouse experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or back of house experience is preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate baler and forklift to process materials (clothing, textiles, cardboard, plastics).
• Feed materials into baler's hopper and monitor controls for proper compaction.
• Tie and label bales securely before transporting to storage using a forklift.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and storage spaces.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and support thrift store operations.
