Description

PURPOSE: Operate forklift and baler safely and competently, following all safety regulations.

FUNCTION:

Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and bales, ensuring production quotas and deadlines are met. Perform general housekeeping and safety duties. Assist with baler operation to produce bales as needed. Perform other activities as directed by the Plant and Warehouse Managers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate forklift safely as instructed.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and bales.
• Complete daily checklists for forklift, baler, and trash compactor.
• Perform production activities assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain quality and material control.
• Ensure general housekeeping and safety.
• Assist in transporting and weighing bales.
• Work closely with textile sorters to maintain production flow.

RELATIONS:

Coordinate efforts with the Plant and Warehouse Managers. Assist colleagues and perform related work as needed.
