Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
Valid Driver’s License.
Experience as a compactor technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and identify issues with compactors quickly and accurately.
Weld and perform site repairs including power units and chutes.
Proficiency with tools for diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.
Electrical troubleshooting and PLC interfacing to keep equipment operational.
Provide detailed repair reports and maintain records of parts used and time spent.
Train and mentor junior technicians in compactor maintenance and repair.
Attend or conduct training sessions with other technicians.
