Job summary

Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Baler Operator for a 12-hour shift in a busy manufacturing facility. You will operate and feed the baler, monitor bale weights, and ensure compliance with safety policies while supporting waste handling and housekeeping throughout the baling area.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and prior manufacturing or baler experience; ability to lift 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to interpret instructions.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience operating a baler machine.
• 12-hour shift work experience required.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Comply with established safety policies and procedures crating 7-10 bales per shift.
• Accurately weighing waste bales and recording bale weights on bale tallies.
• Obtaining waste loads from production areas as directed, feeding waste into the baling machine.
• Work with returned goods.
• Daily cleaning includes cleaning the area around the baler, cleaning the baler box, behind the ram following safety practices.
• Daily blowing off or vacuuming the baler exterior and daily sweeping the baler room floor.
• Performs other related duties as directed by warehouse management.

We are currently seeking a Baler Operator for our Sugar Land, Texas facility.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Comply with established safety policies and procedures crating 7-10 bales per shift.
• Accurately weighing waste bales and recording bale weights. on bale tallies

The ideal candidate shall possess the following:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required. Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating a baler machine.
• 12-hour shift work experience required.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.

Will be required to take a background and drug screen.
