Overview

BAKESHOP SALES ASSOCIATE — Collin Street Bakery

Collin Street Bakery is looking to hire a friendly and efficient Sales Associate. Duties include greeting customers, filling orders, packaging items, proper use of cash register and counting back change, maintaining dining room cleanliness, serving dine-in customers in a timely and courteous manner, arranging baked goods in an appealing way, and answering customer questions about products. The Sales Associate must handle all bakery products in accordance with proper sanitary handling procedures to prevent contamination.

Job type: Part time hourly

Hours of Operation: 6am to 6pm

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and assist with their needs
• Fill customer orders and package items appropriately
• Operate the cash register and count back change
• Maintain dining area cleanliness to established standards
• Serve food to dine-in customers in a timely and courteous manner
• Arrange baked goods in an appealing display
• Answer customer questions about products in the store

Additional Notes

• Experience in Retail Sales at Grocery Stores and/or Supermarkets is common among successful candidates
• Per dress code, Bakeshop Staff will not present with visible tattoos or piercings while in uniform (no tattoos on hands, neck, or face)
