Affinity Group is looking for a passionate and experienced Bakery Technician to join our growing team. You will travel to store locations, help launch new bakery programs, train in-store staff on production and merchandising, and support our manufacturer partners.

No two days are the same—decorating cakes, teaching merchandising techniques, or assisting with openings and remodels. This role requires frequent travel and hands-on training to ensure quality across partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on bakery or foodservice experience.
• Cake decorating skills and bakery operations knowledge.
• Ability to teach and motivate others; training experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with basic technology (email, mobile devices, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead in-store training and support for bakery operations.
• Educate teams on baking techniques, cake decorating, and merchandising.
• Assist with new store openings and remodels.
• Be a trusted partner for retail clients, offering guidance and hands-on help.
• Promote manufacturer products through training, sales support, and field execution.
• Travel frequently and work flexible hours to meet store and training needs.
