Responsibilities

• Takes and processes customer orders according to requests, ensuring on-time product readiness.
• Assists Bakery Manager with variety and quantity planning for bakery products.
• Assists with new product ideas development and implementation.
• Identifies miss-picked merchandise and corrects issues.
• Knowledge of bakery equipment and procedures for quality output.
• Merchandises entrance case with stock levels based on day/time of year and events.
• Prepares frozen products for proper baking.
• Produces bakery items ensuring proper production and quality.
• Cleans department area and equipment; maintains storage and display areas.
• Operates equipment as needed.
• Updates price tags in coordination with scan department.
• Receives and unpacks shipments; checks invoices; clears floor of restocking debris.
• Sets displays to attract customers and promote sales.
• Takes inventory to identify items needing reordering.
