Stauffers of Kissel Hill in Mount Joy, PA is hiring for a part-time Team Member for bakery operations. Evening shifts 4-8pm and open weekends are required. The role offers on-site work with a wage of $14.00 per hour and opportunities for on-the-job training and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper production of bakery goods in the absence of bakers, assistants or management
• Cleans department area and equipment, keeps products organized
• Operates equipment as needed (age 18+)
• Updates price tags and coordinates with scan department
• Packages merchandise per department guidelines
• Prepares and promotes department samples
• Receives and unpacks merchandise and checks invoices
• Rotates product per guidelines
• Sets displays to attract customers and promote sales
• Takes customer orders and ensures timely readiness
• Monitors inventory and replenishes as needed

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper production of bakery goods, in the absence of bakers, department asistants and/or management.
• Cleans department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and displaycases; keeping products and supplies well organized.
• Operates equipment, if needed (if over 18 years of age).
• Operates price scale with knowledge of current prices. Prices or changes price tags onmerchandise referring to price list and in coordination with scan department.
• Packages merchandise according to departmental guidelines.
• Prepares and promotes department samples.
• Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons and crates of merchandise, checking invoice againstitems received. Promptly clears floor of all restocking equipment and debris.
• Rotates product according to departmental guidelines.
• Sets and signs displays of merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
• Takes and processes customer orders according to customer request ensuring that product is ready on time.
• Takes inventory or examines merchandise on a regular basis, to identify items needing to bereordered or replenished.

Qualifications

• While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to hot temperatures whileworking around kitchen equipment.
• Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
