Job summary

SpartanNash’s Family Fare in Wyoming, MI is seeking a part-time Bakery Associate to prepare, fry, package, display, and stock bakery products, contributing to guest experience and safety standards.

You will produce bakery items to production planner, package and label, merchandise per flight plan, rotate stock, and coordinate with the Bakery Manager on orders. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• One year of retail or related experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
• Basic mathematical skills
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Bakery Products to Production Planner
• Package and Label Bakery Products per program plan
• Merchandise Bakery Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations
• Stock Backroom with Bakery Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets
• Notify the Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered
• Work as a team with other departments and Stores to achieve growth in our SpartanNash Retail stores
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
