Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Associate to support daily bakery operations at our store location in the Lehigh Valley area. You will help keep the bakery stocked, greet customers, take orders, and assist in displaying products and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing to meet customer demand.
• Smiles and greets customers, makes suggestions, answers questions about products.
• Helps resolve customer concerns promptly and courteously.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person at the store with a positive attitude.
• Determines size, flavor, and appearance of requested items.
• Sets up special-order tables during peak hours and builds displays.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh, properly priced, and properly signed.
• May assist with production of breads and pastries following recipes.
• Maintains sanitation and cleaning schedules to meet health standards.
• Assists with deliveries and stock handling with proper equipment training.
• Supports other departments as needed.
