Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Philadelphia is hiring for a Bakery Team Member to support the bakery team by receiving and preparing product, stocking displays, and assisting customers in line with WFM standards. You will maintain clean cases, perform opening/closing duties, participate in sampling, and help with inventory while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and upholding health and safety guidelines.

The role requires flexibility, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver friendly, efficient service
• Able to learn product knowledge for bakery items
• Engage with customers and Team Members to support store goals
• Follow health and sanitation procedures and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery cases and shelves clean, stocked and front-faced
• Assists with receiving and preparing product
• Maintains back stock and displays
• Provides excellent customer service and responds to customer needs
• Executes opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Supports sampling program and inventory checks
• Communicates waste and spoilage to supervisors
