Schnucks Markets, Inc. is seeking a friendly and reliable bakery clerk to assist customers and support daily bakery operations in our Illinois store. You will slice, wrap, and display baked goods, stock shelves, and help manage product quality and presentation.

The role includes training at store level, a strong emphasis on safety, and opportunities for growth within a values-driven retail team.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selections and suggestive selling.
• Process incoming products from bakery plant and direct store delivery vendors.
• Package fresh-baked products and slice/wrap bread.
• Stock displays in cases and on shelves; rotate stock and straighten displays.
• Prepare out-dated product for thrift stores; order decorated cakes as needed.
• Bake cookies; maintain cleanliness of work area per safety procedures.
