Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Bakery Department Manager in the United States. You will support the Bakery Department Manager, lead a talented team, and ensure high-quality bakery products and exceptional customer experiences while driving sales, freshness, and store success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Bakery Department operations with focus on quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service.
• Foster a welcoming, customer‑focused environment and resolve customer concerns and special orders.
• Assist with planning and executing daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand.
• Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs.
• Assist in managing department sales, labor, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and shrink goals.
• Support compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing bakery associates while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Perform Bakery Department duties as needed and cover for the Bakery Manager in their absence.
