Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Bakery Department Manager to support the Bakery Department Manager in leading a talented team, delivering high-quality bakery products and exceptional customer service. You will help drive sales, freshness, and store success while maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a retail bakery environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation requirements
• Experience in retail bakery operations or similar leadership role

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily Bakery Department operations ensuring quality, freshness, presentation and service
• Foster a welcoming, customer-focused environment and handle special orders
• Assist with planning and executing daily bakery production based on sales trends
• Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs
• Assist in managing department sales, scheduling, inventory and shrink goals
• Support hiring, training, coaching and development of bakery staff
