Job summary

Market 32/Price Chopper is seeking a Bakery team member to support daily operations in the bakery department, ensuring quality, freshness and attractive presentation of products.

You will assist in product preparation, baking, merchandising and the final presentation of all bakery items, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards and helping the Bakery Manager with staff training and supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support others; with strong follow-through in achieving desired results and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to 5S efficiency standards while delivering fast, friendly service.
• Assist Bakery Manager in day-to-day operations and training of staff.
• Oversee department in the absence of Bakery Manager.
• Ensure product availability, quality, and sanitary conditions.
• Manage customer special orders and inventory in the bakery.
