Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in day-to-day operations. You will focus on productive merchandising, inventory control, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Developed candidates will supervise staff, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines while supporting a friendly, community-focused store culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of retail grocery experience.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and related equipment.
• Must meet Food Handlers permit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in supervising Bakery Department operations.
• Help manage and merchandise the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls for the Bakery.
• Ensure merchandise rotation and attractive displays.
• Monitor incoming deliveries for damaged items.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and product quality.
• Uphold safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
