Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a talented Bakery Specialist to be responsible for providing client and customer bakery training and retail support and training in the assigned territory. The role involves developing and maintaining strong working relationships with In‑Store and Sales Operations personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage client and customer support in assigned territory by conducting store visits.
• Conduct in‑store bakery training in the assigned market area.
• Prepare reports and provide feedback to management as needed.
• Other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned.
• Prioritize and manage time effectively and efficiently; communicate over phone and email.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in baking (donuts, dry mix, frozen dough, proof and bake, cake decorating).
• Advanced cake decorating skills with the ability to create unique and on‑trend designs.
• Advanced to master baking skills with the ability to work with mixes and doughs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and smartphone usage for email.
• Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Creative problem‑solving, project management, critical thinking, and analytical ability.
• Ability to build effective working relationships.
• Unquestionable work ethics, personal integrity, and honesty.

Physical & Travel Requirements

The incumbent must be able to perform essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in‑store environment. Requires spending approximately 66% or more of each workday engaging in physical activity, lifting and/or pushing up to 74 pounds, standing on feet for long periods, using baking equipment, and operating in cold refrigerated or freezer sections as appropriate. Must also drive and travel as required for the role.
