Job summary

Stew Leonard's in New York is seeking a Bakery-Bread Slicer for a full-time hourly position. You will slice, package and label products for display and sale, following our precise ingredient measurements and quality standards.

Daily tasks include reviewing the production plan, operating the bread slicer, labeling and dating products, rotating stock, and keeping areas clean and compliant with food safety rules.

Qualifications

• Entry level position: no prior experience required

Responsibilities

• Review production plan
• Operate bread slicer machine
• Prepare, package, label, and date products according to company standards
• Maintain proper product rotation and assist with inventory organization
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
• Monitor product quality and report inconsistencies to bakery leadership
• Support opening and closing production procedures
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Assist in other duties, as assigned
