Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe in Plano, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team on a shift-to-shift basis, ensuring smooth operations in the storefront and kitchen while delivering excellent guest experiences.

You will coach associates to meet our quality and hospitality standards, manage on-floor leadership, and help maintain food safety and store cleanliness. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role with a clear path in store leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of restaurant, food service, or retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills — a natural motivator and team player.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable leading on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift, ensuring service and operations run smoothly in storefront and kitchen.
• Coach and train associates to meet 85°C standards for quality and hospitality.
• Create memorable guest experiences and resolve issues in the moment.
• Uphold quality, food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety standards.
• Open or close the store and keep each shift on time and on standard.
