Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Shift Leader to guide bakery operations, mentor the Cookie Crew, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across busy shifts. You will bake, package, and prepare orders while maintaining highest standards of quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer-facing roles, strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Availability for evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts is required at locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift to ensure an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering strong guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members, providing direction and feedback throughout the shift.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations running efficiently and meet guest demand.
• Help maintain our standards for product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates with store leadership to keep the bakery operating smoothly.
