85°C Bakery Cafe in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to set the tone for each shift, lead the storefront and kitchen teams, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will coach colleagues to meet our hospitality standards, uphold food safety and cleanliness, and ensure smooth operations from opening to closing. Strong communication, reliability, and punctuality are essential; 30+ hours per week includes holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of restaurant, food service, or retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills; natural motivator and team player.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable leading on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during your shift, keeping service and operations smooth.
• Coach and train associates to meet standards for quality and hospitality.
• Create memorable guest experiences and resolve issues in the moment.
• Uphold quality, food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety standards.
• Open or close the store and keep each shift on time and on standard.
