Job summary

Butter Pecan Bakeshop Antioch is seeking a Shift Lead to guide daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure cookies are baked to perfection while delivering outstanding guest service in a clean, organized shop.

You will train crew members, coordinate with owners for scheduling, handle cash deposits, and perform QA checks to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction. Openings start as early as 9am with a 30+ hour workweek and compensation of $20 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Experience in shift management in quick service or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee shift operations on duty and manage daily routines.
• Collaborate with owners and managers for staffing and scheduling alignment.
• Train crew members and assign duties based on role and skills.
• Provide direction and feedback to maintain productivity and morale.
• Perform QA checks to improve efficiency, waste reduction, and customer service.
• Greet customers, deliver exceptional service, process orders accurately.
• Balance cash drawers and handle deposits as directed by management.
• Assist with dough preparation and baking as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and close/open activities as directed.
