Job summary

Harvest Moon Baking Company (HMBC) is seeking a Sanitation Team Member to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production bakery. The role focuses on implementing sanitation processes, following the Sanitation Manual, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed. The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, in a production setting with varied

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment.
• Able to work in wet environments and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper cleaning procedures and sanitation steps.
• Clean all equipment per the Sanitation Manual and protocols.
• Dispose of waste in compliance with guidelines.
• Use PPE at all times.
• Maintain chemical security and proper chemical use.
• Perform daily cleaning across all areas.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF programs.
• Attend to attendance and safety policies.
