Mykelly seeks dependable Sanitation Workers for a 6-week temporary assignment at our bakery facility in Mebane, NC. You will support sanitation, compliance, and safety initiatives to uphold our food manufacturing standards and assist with audits.

Key tasks include cleaning equipment and production areas, disposing of waste, maintaining logs and checklists, and collaborating with production operators, maintenance technicians, and QA to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP/SSOP and FDA/FSMA is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and reliable with good math and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Equipment & Line Cleaning: Clean, sanitize, and inspect bakery production equipment including processing lines, rotary moulders, ovens, and conveyors.
• Facility & Area Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness throughout production areas, wash bays, spread areas, and general manufacturing zones.
• Waste Management: Regularly dispose of manufacturing waste, empty conveyor bins, and manage scrap/debris in accordance with safety standards.
• Compliance & Standards: Adhere strictly to GMPs, SSOPs, and FDA/FSMA food safety requirements.
• Documentation: Complete and verify sanitation checklists, logs, and quality confirmation forms.
• Collaboration: Work with production operators, maintenance technicians, and QA staff to resolve issues and ensure audit readiness.
