• Smiles and greets customers, makes suggestions, answers questions about products.
• Sets up special-order tables during peak hours and builds displays as needed.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh, properly priced, and labeled; remove saleable products as needed.
• May assist with production of breads, pastries and other baked goods.
• Maintains department sanitation and follows cleaning schedules and PPE guidelines.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, checking-in deliveries and basic store support.
• Reports shortages or overages to manager and supports shrink control.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to maintain smooth department operation.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
