• Smiles and greets customers, makes suggestions, answers questions about products.
• Sets up special-order tables during peak hours and builds displays.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh, properly priced, and labeled; removes unsaleable product.
• May assist with production of breads and pastries following approved recipes.
• Maintains department sanitation and adheres to health and OSHA standards.
• Reports shortages or overages to manager and supports department goals.
• Assists in other departments as needed.
