Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of department operations to meet financial and sales goals.
• Build associate and customer relations and promote support of Hannaford Strategy.
• In the absence of the department manager, manage department operations.
• Lead and coach associates to meet department needs and standards.
• Maintain department appearance, safety, and food safety at high levels.
• Communicate department and company policies to associates.
• Assist in hiring, training and developing associates.
• Assist in merchandising, scheduling, and productivity measures.
