Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lewiston, ME seeks an experienced production associate to support shift operations. You will assist supervisors, train staff, and help ensure product safety and quality across production lines.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, safety adherence, time/material efficiency, and maintaining a clean, compliant work area. Two years on plant production and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors in the operations of shift production.
• Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials; perform continuous inspection of products to ensure quality.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
• Position may be responsible for operating the facility metal detector(s) with proper training and certification.
• Ensure a safe working environment through enforcement of safety policies and procedures.
• Plan and adjust work assignments to cover all phases of production.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Ensure compliance with company rules and policies (EEO, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley).
• Complete AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course.
