Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production team in our Traverse City plant. You will supervise production associates and coordinate with maintenance, sanitation and shipping to hit targets and deliver safe, quality products.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in production, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in production.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of FDA, USDA is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Kronos knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to become proficient in NetSuite ERP.
• Ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational targets and lead production teams.
• Drive safety, quality, continuous improvement and performance.
• Build an effective shift team and manage training.
• Coordinate materials, staffing and resources for line operation.
• Collaborate with Area Leadership to implement reliability strategy.
• Coach operators to develop leadership and ensure food safety.
• Identify risks and lead on-shift incident resolution.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit and onboard associates.
