Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Bakery Team Member in Illinois to produce artisan breads and pastries, bake and wrap products, and assist with inventory for seasonal events. You will train production staff, ensure safety and quality, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with a wage range of $17.00–$25.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or deli environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Comfort with flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Produce breads, pastries, doughs, cakes, and bars.
• Bake, cool, wrap, label, and stock products.
• Train staff and perform production planning for events.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Maintain Datapax production modules.
