Job summary

Whole Foods Market Exton is seeking a Bakery Team Member to produce quality breads and pastries, doughs and cakes, and to wrap, label and stock finished goods. The role emphasizes seasonal production and high productivity in a fast-paced environment.

You will train staff to high standards, assist with production planning for events, and maintain clean, safe working areas while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting merchandising efforts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating.
• Demonstrates positive attitude, energy, and passion for baking the best breads and pastries.
• Basic computer skills.
• Demonstrates a passion for cleanliness.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity.
