Job summary

Hartford Bakery Inc in Evansville, IN is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead high-speed bakery operations on-site. The role focuses on implementing production standards, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement in efficiency and product quality.

You will oversee scheduling, coordination with Plant Manager, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years in a management position.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, GMPs, and production processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement company standards for formulas, scaling weights, pan sizes, bake times, and production control processes.
• Train, coach, oversee, provide feedback and assess Production staff and overall bakery production performance.
• Lead with a vision, manage change, develop others, and plan for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate manpower, ingredients and equipment for efficient production of consistent quality products.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for cleanliness and product safety in collaboration with Sanitation.
