Job summary

Stew Leonard's is seeking a Bakery Production Assistant for seasonal, hourly work in Norwalk, CT. Pay range $17.75 to $21.38 per hour, with weekly pay through Dayforce Wallet. Must be at least 18; no prior experience required.

You will prepare, package and label products to bakery standards and help with inventory and sanitation. Daily tasks include reviewing production plans, following recipes, restocking ingredients, and maintaining product rotation.

• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts.
• Monitor product quality and report inconsistencies to bakery leadership.
• Support opening and closing production procedures.
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Assist in other duties, as assigned.

Position Description:

Production Assistants prepare, package and label product for display and sale according to standards, including the precise measurement of ingredients

Your day-to-day:

• Review production plan
• Reading and understanding recipes
• Prepare, package, label, and date products according to company standards
• Maintain proper product rotation and assist with inventory organization
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
