Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection in Hanover, PA is seeking a Bakery Processing Operator to support 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM rotating AWS schedule with starting pay of $22.50/hour plus $2.00 shift differential. The role focuses on safe operation of bakery processing equipment, quality control, and efficient production flow.

You will read batch sheets, monitor temps and weights, perform changeovers, and assist with maintenance while following sanitation, safety, and GMP guidelines. Overtime may be required.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate bakery processing equipment to produce products within quality and safety standards.
• Properly mix ingredients and monitor temperature, moisture, times, and weights.
• Make equipment and process adjustments to maintain quality and consistency.
• Monitor production flow and remove non-conforming products.
• Read and follow batch sheets, recipes, and production instructions.
• Operate, shut down, and perform changeovers on processing equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain sanitation and 5S standards during cleanups and changeovers.
• Track and dispose of production waste; manage raw material inventory.
