Sprinkles is hiring a Baker Prep Associate (Production Associate) in Washington, DC. The role involves mixing batters, frostings, and ice cream flavors, with shifts starting between midnight and 4am. The position emphasizes accuracy, kitchen precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary or pastry experience preferred, or 1 year in a kitchen.
• Ability to work flexible hours including midnight to 4am.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Act as a company advocate and embody Sprinkles Culture.
• Memorize recipes and use proper techniques in mixing, pouring, and storing batters and frostings.
• Assist with dishwashing, baking, and cooling as needed.
• Demonstrate teamwork and support fellow associates to deliver the Sprinkles Experience.
• Prepare batters and frostings for delivery to other bakeries where applicable.
• Maintain a consistent pace to complete duties on time.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with cleaning duties and opening/closing checklists.
