Levain Bakery in Chicago is seeking a dedicated Porter to support daily store operations. You will keep the customer areas, kitchens, and restrooms clean and sanitized, while assisting with setup of displays and light food prep.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, shows reliability and a strong work ethic, and is comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead with curiosity and compassion by showing care for co-workers.
• Maintain cleanliness in all store areas including customer spaces and restrooms.
• Wash, sanitize, and restock utensils and supplies.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of displays and equipment.
• Help with light food preparation and packaging as needed.
• Communicate maintenance issues to management.
