Job summary

Maman is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow across the kitchen, service, and storage areas in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will support the BOH team, restock supplies, and ensure safety standards while contributing to a collaborative team. This role offers opportunities for growth within a growing brand and requires reliability and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, café, or bakery experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishpit, café, restroom, and service areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cookware and replenish stock.
• Assist with trash and recycling removal per health standards.
• Support Kitchen Leader and BOH with basic prep tasks and storage organization.
• Receive, move, and store deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
• Restock supplies such as paper goods, cleaning materials, service items, etc.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks and ad hoc projects to support daily operations.
