Job summary

Levain Bakery is seeking a Porter to support daily bakery operations, maintain a clean and safe environment, and assist in opening/closing duties. You will collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional store presentation and customer experience.

The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior custodian/porter experience in F&B or retail is preferred. Health benefits and competitive hourly pay are provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead with curiosity and care, building connections with coworkers.
• Collaborate with team to maintain cleanliness in the store.
• Communicate clearly with team and management.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings to foster a positive environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms and workspaces.
• Washing, sanitizing, restocking dishes and tools per guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing duties for displays and equipment.
• Restock and organize inventory according to guidelines.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and proper storage.
• Support daily operations including light food prep and packaging.
• Manage waste and keep bins clean throughout the day.
