Job summary

Alpha Baking Company, Inc. is seeking a production associate to support daily manufacturing operations. You will read and understand the production schedule, set up equipment, apply labels, enter basic information, and help keep the work area clean.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, read/write English, and comply with food safety policies. Six months of food manufacturing experience is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Six months food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the production schedule.
• Communicate with Box Erector.
• Enter basic computer information.
• Apply labels to boxes when required.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Set up tape machine in a timely manner.
• Complete skid tag information.
• Recognize potential machine problems.
• Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies.
