Sam’s West, Inc. is hiring for a Bakery/Packager Associate in Papillion, NE. You will assist members by preparing fresh bakery items, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure freshness.

The role requires multitasking and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced club environment. You’ll work with a team to ensure quality, comply with food safety standards, and use handheld tools to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicates with team members and remains flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise per daily production needs, follows recipes, wraps, labels, and stores merchandise following company policies; ensures food safety and sanitation.
• Be a Techie: Uses handheld technology to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence, keeps the work area clean, ensures quality and date control, proper packaging and labeling of items.
