Walmart in Laurel, MD is seeking a Bakery/Packager associate to prepare fresh baked items daily, wrap, label, and store merchandise for our members. You will juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while helping members with bakery orders, ensuring the freshest items for families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be comfortable standing for long periods while helping members quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team and adapt to business needs.
• Be an Expert: prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs, follows recipes, wraps, labels, and stores items per policy, and ensures food safety and sanitation.
• Be a Techie: uses handheld technology to support production, merchandising decisions and product quality.
• Be an Owner: maintains work area, ensures quality and date control, and assists members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: demonstrates high-quality service and energy in handling member needs.
• Completes tasks by following policies, coordinating with managers and teammates, prioritizing workloads, and adapting to change.
