Bakery Operator - Donut Production (Frying/Mixing)
2nd Shift: 1pm - 1130pm, (4 days/10 hour shifts)

The Bakery Operator is responsible for running various pieces of equipment in production and packaging. The operator reports to the Operations Supervisor and coordinates a team of Bakery associates to support the production line. The Bakery Operator will assist with, but not limited to, operating equipment or machines associated with production and packaging. The incumbent will be trained by a subject matter expert according to work instructions and is expected to run the equipment proficiently. The operator will focus on specific equipment and machinery, following all specifications outlined in our sheets, managing weights, settings, packaging, quality, speeds, labels, ingredients, and alerting management to any issues affecting product quality. The operator will not operate equipment deemed unsafe and must report safety concerns to management.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and quality policies and regulations.
  • Monitor product quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Assist with training and cross-training of team members.
  • Coordinate break rotations and provide lunches as needed.
  • Continuously learn about products and processes to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, raw materials, and waste during and after production runs.
  • Monitor finished product quality, aiming to eliminate defects and increase throughput.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Perform routine safety checks and promote a safe working environment.
