Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery – Relief at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery to ensure production line coverage, maintain product quality, and adhere to specifications during daily operations. The role supports multiple bakery processes and requires coordinating with Leads and Operators.

The 3rd shift runs 10:00pm-6:30am with an hourly rate of $25-26. Candidates should have at least 6 months of related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ingredient Operator or related role.
• Ability to read and interpret scale and temperature measurements.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance up to 100 lbs).
• Experience in fast-paced production or food manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production line positions (mixing, sheeting, oven, packing) are properly covered during breaks and absences.
• Operate and support multiple bakery processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Follow Aspire SOPs, equipment manuals, and standard work procedures.
• Collaborate with Operators and Leads to optimize line performance.
• Identify issues through daily area walks and support waste reduction efforts.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (AOE).
• Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
