Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage associates across departments.
• Good judgement in problem solving and decision making.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or eligible within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail operations for the assigned department and drive performance.
• Hire, train and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Maintain department appearance, presentation and sanitation standards.
• Meet departmental financial objectives and control shrink.
• Use company tools such as MPP, financial reports, scheduling and BIS.
• Schedule effectively to meet production and customer service standards.
• Provide recognition and coaching as needed.
