Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Utah seeks a Bakery Associate to assist the Bakery Manager in running the department smoothly and profitably. You will fill in for various roles, train new associates, and help determine production and inventory levels.

Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, pricing accuracy, and daily sanitation, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting schedule planning and safety initiatives. Weekend/evening availability preferred.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and some college education are preferred.
One year of bakery experience preferred.
Combination of education, experience, and training providing the listed knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the Bakery provides.
Maintains the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Bakery.
Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying attention to ad items.
Ensures the Bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards for appearance.
Delivers excellent customer service to all customers.
Assists in drafting production sheets and schedules to meet bakery needs.
