Job summary

Price Chopper Supermarkets-Market 32 seeks a Bakery Supervisor to oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring budgeted objectives, product quality, and presentation standards drive sales. You will supervise bakery staff, ensure compliance with sanitation regulations, and deliver fast, friendly service to customers.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training, safety compliance, merchandising, and maintaining stock and displays per planograms.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day department operations, including supervision and staffing.
• Hire, train, and develop department staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety/sanitation, corporate policies, and dress code.
• Monitor payroll, sales, gross profit, CTO, shrink, and inventory levels.
• Merchandise department per corporate planograms and programs; maintain stock and rotation; ensure proper shelf/display conditions.
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service and uphold CHOPS behaviors and 5S standards.
• Adhere to the corporate code of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
